The young Mohawks traveled to Edinburgh and came home with their first conference win of the season 4 to 1!

#1 singles Lucas Shaw (10) defeated Max Blandford (12) 6-2, 7-6 (7-2).

#2 Jack Fischer (10) suffered the lone loss 1-6, 6-3, 10-6 to Austin Brockman (11)

#3 Caiden Young (9) played well winning 6-2, 6-0 over Milas Burkman (10)

#1 doubles Josh Kellems (12) and Jacob Lindsey (11) won easily 6-0, 6-0 over Bailey Totten and Braylon Lenkner.

#2 doubles Matthew Thomas and Connor Hinchman rolled 6-0, 6-0 over Teddy Crawhorn and Jason Music.

In JV Action, Sam Jones defeated Anduan Chavez 8-0. Connor Ping also played Chavez winning 8-0.

For Shelbyville, Varsity defeated Oldenburg 6-0. The Golden Bears were led by Christian Haas with 3 goals and 1 assist . Haas also drew a penalty that Drew Hassebroek converted for our first goal of the season. Osvaldo Reyes and Ben Price added second half goals. Jalen Hounshell made some key saves to pick up his first shutout of the season.

Shelbyville Varsity Girls Soccer pulled off the win against Franklin Community 4 – 1.

For Shelbyville, Ella Johnson had two goals and Hannah Baker and Evelyn Keifer scored one apiece.

Southwestern Varsity volleyball lost 20-25; 21-25; 16-25 to Oldenburg. The JV team for Southwestern also lost 5-25; 12-25 to Oldenburg.

Triton Central faced off against Greensburg. In the end, the Tigers fell 3-1 to the Pirates. The scores by set were 14-25; 15-25; 25-20; 15-25.

Shelbyville lost to Whiteland 242-201.

Kate Linville had a 64, Emmie Higgins shot a 54, Madison Monroe had a 63, Ava Essex finished with a 61, Livanet Rosales had a 64 and Ella Connolly had a 73

For Whiteland, Cooper was the medalist with a 45, McGovern had a 49, Hoogland shot a 51, Taylor had a 56, Gunn shot a 58 and Caviness finished with a 57

Southwestern played in a three team outing in golf. In the end they finished in second place to the Columbus North JV team.

For Southwestern, McKinley Correll had a 56, Sydney Griffin shot a 68, Emma Isgrigg had a 58, Aurora Belton finished with a 67, Hannah Hicks had a 67. The Spartans finished with 249

For Eastern Hancock, Emily Grant had a 61, Abby Bolding shot a 61, Lyla Hancock had a 61. They finished with an INC

For Columbus North JV, Kara Buntin had a 57, Ana Pavlov had a 56, Jaedyn shot a 60, Mila Bachman was the medalist with 55. They won with a 228.
